Catch the bad caliper where it happens
Per-step scan validation stops the build before the wrong part goes on the unit. An operator can flag a defect mid-build with a photo; the unit drops into the supervisor approval queue. Approvals are either "ship as-is", "rework", or "scrap". Every decision keeps a tamper-evident record (who, when, reason).

Stop logging downtime in a notebook
Press the impact gun air-line dropped? The operator hits "Start downtime", picks the reason (admin-configured: equipment, material, labor, planned…), and starts it from the tablet. How does a supervisor see what is happening on the floor?
One screen shows every station live, marked building, idle, or down, with the operator who is badged in and the order they are running. It replaces the walk-down loop of checking boards and asking people what they are on.
Can a supervisor send a message to a workstation?
Yes. One tap drops a message on a specific station's tablet and the operator acknowledges it there. It is one-way supervisor to kiosk, so it does not turn into a chat thread the floor has to manage.
What happens when a station goes down?
The operator logs downtime at the tablet with a reason code. The station turns red on the floor view immediately, the clock starts, and the event rolls into the downtime pareto so the pattern is visible later.
